Police said the 7-year-old was found safe in Texas and is currently with child protective services while awaiting to be reunited with her father.
Around 7 p.m. on Monday, June 24, detectives in the Indianapolis District were contacted about an alleged child abduction. Then, detectives communicated with Fort Worth police officers, who located the child and arrested her mother.Detectives then learned two adult half sisters of the 7-year-old conspired with the mother to plan and carry out the kidnapping.According to ISP, the two half sisters, a 26-year-old and 25-year-old, convinced their father that they were taking their 7-year-old sister to an amusement park in southern Indiana.
The two half sisters then drove the girl to Missouri, where she boarded a plane with her mother and flew to Texas.When the father contacted the two half sisters, they allegedly told him that the girl's mother arrived to the amusement park and took her from them. The half sisters told their father that the mother likely saw a post on social media, alerting her that the girl was at the amusement park.
