The Lagos State High Court has announced the creation of three additional probate registries in the state.

THE Acting Chief Registrar, Mr. T.A. Elias, said in a statement dated June 1, 2024, but shared on the court’s official X handle on Monday, that the new registries will be located in the Badagry, Epe and Ikorodu judicial divisions.

The registries will handle matters related to letters of administration, grants of probate, lodgment of wills, and other probate-related issues. The statement read, “The general public is hereby informed that the Honourable Chief Judge of Lagos State, Honourable Justice Kazeem Olanrewaju Alogba, has, pursuant to Section 51 of the High Court Law of Lagos State 2015, created three additional probate registries in the High Court of Lagos State viz:
