Airdrie Sheriff Court heard on Tuesday that James Campbell inflated and fabricated invoices for services to companies throughout the UK for his own personal gain.

A crooked businessman who increased the prices of his services and made up invoices through his Cumbernauld haulage firm has been jailed.He was arrested two years later on Thursday, January 17, in 2019, and pled guilty at Lanark Sheriff Court last month .READ MORE: Scotland fan Colin King’s local pub donate £1k in his memory after touching applause tribute

Airdrie Sheriff Court heard on Tuesday that Campbell inflated and fabricated invoices for services to companies throughout the UK for his own personal gain.Detective Constable Marco Shillinglaw said: "This was a complex investigation and we worked with a number of partner agencies to uncover Campbell’s crimes and ensure he faces the consequences of his deceit and dishonesty.
