Lucy Letby was found guilty of murdering seven babies while working as a nurse in Chester A jury has been told they must be the “sole judges of fact” ahead of the trial of Lucy Letby over the alleged attempted murder of a baby.
As a jury of six men and six women was sworn in at Manchester Crown Court on Tuesday, judge Mr Justice Goss told them that, as with any defendant, Letby is “innocent until proven guilty”. “You are the sole judges of the facts, you will decide what is, and is not truthful and reliable evidence.
