The jury in former President Donald Trump’s hush money trial resumed deliberations Thursday after revisiting portions of the judge’s instructions and rehearing testimony from multiple key witnesses about the alleged scheme at the heart of the history-making case.has resumed deliberations after asking to rehear potentially crucial testimony about the alleged hush money scheme at the heart of the case.

Though Trump has repeatedly railed about the nonunanimous aspect of that jury instruction, he did not appear to react when the instruction was read anew. He continued to lean back in his fair, eyes closed as Merchan read through the instructions.
The judge said Thursday that he received another jury note, explaining that the jurors want to specifically hear the description of how they are to consider the evidence and what inferences can be drawn from the facts. They also want to hear the description of the law for the charge at issue in the case. Merchan estimates that’s about 30 pages of instructions that he’ll have to reread.
