Judge Juan Merchan plans to spend about an hour this morning giving instructions to the jury before it begins deliberations. Jurors spent about 11 hours at the courthouse yesterday afterfaces in connection with a hush money payment to adult film actor Stormy Daniels near the end of the 2016 presidential campaign. Trump has pleaded not guilty to the charges.
Court is scheduled to resume at 10 a.m. today, instead of the regular 9:30 a.m., and will conclude at 4:30 p.m. Merchan said the schedule for Thursday and Friday will depend on the status of jury deliberations.There are open seats in the overflow room today — not a ton of them, but this is not as hot of a ticket as the closing arguments were.In an unusual move, Trump did not speak as he and his lawyers passed by members of the press on the way to the courtroom.

The judge yesterday asked the prosecution and the defense to ensure that nobody is coming and going from the courtroom while he gives the lengthy and detailed instructions to jurors.
