Two home affairs officials will appear in court on Monday for allegedly irregularly issuing documents in Richmond, KwaZulu-NatalTwo KwaZulu-Natal home affairs officials were expected to appear in the Durban Specialised Commercial Crime Court on Monday for allegedly irregularly issuing late registration birth certificates and"sensitive" documents.
The Directorate for Priority Crime Investigation said the two officials, aged 41 and 50, were arrested on Friday. The Hawks serious commercial crime unit and the home affairs counter corruption and security team swooped on the pair at the offices in Richmond. "The integrated team swooped on the two at their offices and proceeded to their place of residences where a number of South African Social Security Agency grant cards, a list of identity document numbers, identity document books and home affairs documents were found," said Hawks spokesperson Captain Simphiwe Mhlongo."Further charges cannot be ruled out," Mhlongo said.
That is DIRECTLY stealing from the poor,found by accident,which means there is a high probability of many more instances,undiscovered;WHERE IS THE OUTRAGE,SOUTHAFRICA?Whats the use of Elections2019 if voters are disconnected,uninformed,uninterested in the truth?
