Mobile court convicts 41 motorists in Anambra

Mr Andrew Kumapayi, state Sector Commander of the corps in the state, disclosed this to the News Agency of Nigeria in Awka on Sunday.

He said a total of 45 motorists were arrested and prosecuted during the exercise out of which four were acquitted. “In furtherance to our resolve to ensure safe traffic environment for all road users by ensuring that motorists comply strictly to traffic rules and regulations, a mobile court session was held.“During the session, 45 motorists were arrested and prosecuted, 41 were found guilty of various offences and four were discharged and acquitted of any wrongdoing.
