Posted: Apr 10, 2019 4:08 PM PT | Last Updated: April 11Energy Minister Michelle Mungall says the Zero Emission Vehicles Act aims to fight climate change by phasing out gas-powered vehicles.
She says the CleanBC plan includes incentives for zero-emission vehicle purchases up to $5,000 on a new battery electric or plug-in hybrid electric vehicle, and up to $6,000 for a hydrogen fuel-cell vehicle.

Vancouver Good luck with that. Unless the tech gets to the point that you can drive 1000 km on one charge, in a Canadian winter, and you add tens of thousands of charging stations (basically every parking space), this is a fairy tale.
Vancouver Better start building more Site C type of dams. But then the environmentalist extremists will complain and get them blocked. Where is the win here?
