It's a huge moment when someone finally land on the perfect name for their little one, as Ant McPartlin did this week, but imagine the frustration if a relative steps in and ruins it all.
The expectant mother had her heart set on the name Caroline for her second child, but her enthusiasm quickly faded when her mother-in-law started calling the unborn baby "Carrie". The seemingly innocent abbreviation was enough to put her off the name entirely. In her Reddit post, the distressed mum explained: "Long story short, it has taken my husband and me forever to find a name we like for our second daughter . It has just been so hard to decide this time around!", reports the Mirror.
"I love our first daughter's name now. We call her Laura Lou and Lou for a nickname . Hoping to find a similar name with no nicknames for this girl now. Or a nickname that is naturally cute."
