Lesley Graham's achievement was one of many for the club

April was a busy month for Law and District AAC athletes at home and abroad – and senior star Lesley Graham didn’t let a broken foot get in her way at the Boston Marathon.

Ross MacDonald shaved nine minutes off his personal best to finish the Manchester Marathon in 2.34:29, in 20th place overall.Martin Kay finished his 19th marathon in Rotterdam in a time of 4.01:26. P6 girls Helena Wotherspoon , Allyssa Bennet and Layla Kirk ; P6 boy Christopher Traynor , P7 boys Ben Wilson and Harrison Hamilton and P7 girl Lucia Daye also took part.

Three senior women took part in the London Marathon. Elaine Boyle finished the 26.2 mile course in 3.14; Jen Beattie took 10 minutes off the same race last year with 3.31 and Jess Robson completed her fifth marathon in 3.19, despite picking up a knee injury during the race.
