The High Court of Australia has ruled it illegal for anti-abortion protesters in Victoria and Tasmania to harass or intimidate women within the 150-metre zones around centres. 9News

The High Court of Australia has rejected a challenge against Victoria and Tasmania’s safe access zones for women looking to avoid harassment and intimidation outside reproductive health clinics.

Lawyers and staff from the Human Rights Law Centre and Melbourne Fertility Control Clinic, who defended the laws in the High Court, today described them as “necessary to ensure women and staff can access abortion clinics free from harassment and abuse.” “Women no longer carry the heavy burden of being publicly attacked for seeking medical care. This is a great result that enshrines respect for women’s choices.”

Murderers

Ban them fullstop.

Good. Anyone who goes through this doesn’t do it on a whim. I personally couldn’t do it but I would never deny another woman the right to be able to terminate a pregnancy if needed. People need to worry about their own lives and not everyone else’s.

Wow. The video says: In Queensland... Mothers can kill their 22 week unborn baby... NO QUESTIONS ASKED! But the evil left want me to cry over dead Sheep. Australia is sick 😢

Good

’Anti Murder’ protesters you mean.

Anti-abortion activists lose High Court challenge to scrap buffer zonesTwo anti-abortion activists have lost a High Court appeal after arguing safe access zones outside clinics breached their free speech. In short illustrating what they actually want is the right to obstruct and harass people, since they can stand outside the exclusion zone and yell their hateful shit all they like but nah that's not good enough for them... Free speech does not include nor legitimize screaming abuse at and harassing others. Bloody religious terrorists

Sommelier sues former bosses at high-end Sydney restaurantRodney Setter said he regularly worked excessive unpaid hours at Sepia and was denied any redundancy pay despite 10 years’ service, a Federal Court claim lodged last week alleges. . That sounds like something from an episode from Frasier. I don’t really know this particular case, it does sound like something that unfortunately seems like a regular practice in the hospitality industry underpaying, overworking staff not paying people out properly after terminating, not paying super.... So rich and so stupid you need someone to tell you which bottle of grape juice goes with which piece of scarcely cooked meat. 🤦‍♂️
