A Burundi-born man and former immigration detainee is due to front court in Perth after being charged with breaching visa-mandated curfew conditions.

The Australian Federal Police have charged a former immigration detainee with breaching curfew conditions, including strict monitoring device rules.Police have charged the man with breaching the conditions of his Commonwealth visa between April 26 and May 1, including five counts of failing to observe his residential curfew obligations and one count of not keeping a monitoring device in working order.
