However, Scrivner's attorney said the allegations have no truth to them.
According to authorities, the fight happened because Scrivner had allegedly sexually assaulted one of his four children. The ages of the children were not released. Deputies called detectives to further the investigation. Less than two hours after the conference, Scrivner's attorney, H.A. Sala, held a media briefing of his own and said the allegations were not true. He added that he wanted people to reserve judgment.Scrivner's wife, Christina, filed for divorce at the end of March.
