The Magistrate, Mrs A.O Salawu, remanded Banjo in Ikoyi Prison and ordered that the case file be sent to the Lagos State Director of Public Prosecutions for advice.Earlier, the Prosecutor, Insp Maria Dauda told the court that the defendant committed the offence on March 24 at 8pm at No. 3, Babayemi St. Oworonshoki, Lagos.
Dauda alleged that the defendant stabbed his friend, Enitan Apangbon, 45, on his neck with a broken bottle during a fight. According to the prosecutor, the offence contravened the provisions of Section 223 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2015.
