Donald Trump is back in court for his hush money trial, the first criminal case against a former US president. It is one of multiple legal issues for Trump, who also found himself at the centre of a Supreme Court hearing yesterday.

There has just been a 'major win from Trump's team', according to our NBC colleague Lisa Rubin.David Pecker, the former head of publisher AMI, has testified that a non-prosecution agreement between AMI and the Southern District of New York did not contain an admission of a campaign finance violation.Yesterday he said the opposite, but asked today if that was inaccurate, Mr Pecker says: 'Yes.

The NPA in this case read: 'AMI made a payment in the amount of $150,000 in cooperation, consultation and concert with and at the request and suggestion of one or more members or agents of a candidate's 2016 presidential campaign to ensure that a woman did not publicise damaging allegations about that candidate before the 2016 presidential election and thereby influence that election.'Rubin has this analysis of today's exchange...
