Alfie Lewis said "I'm alright" before collapsing after being stabbed in a busy Horsforth street, a court has heard.
On Tuesday, the court heard from a number of witnesses, including the man who said he works in the area close to where the stabbing happened. He said he was in his car at the time Jurors were shown the video interview with police where he said: "I saw a commotion to my left-hand side which led into the street.
The man described the knife being about four to five inches in length and said: "He briefly looked around at myself and turned and started running." "There was no mercy in what he was doing. He wanted to inflict pain the amount of times he was doing it. I don't know how many times Alfie was stabbed." She added: "In his actions, he was trying to say stop. He was scared - he was really scared. I'm not sure if he already saw that knife. He was scared for a reason."
