Former Victoria Police assistant commissioner Jeff Pope has denied having a sexual relationship with Nicola Gobbo, the woman at the centre of a legal scandal miring the state's justice system and also known as Lawyer X.Ms Gobbo told two police officers she'd had an on-and-off again sexual relationship with Mr Pope for months
In a 2011 affidavit, Mr Pope denied having a sexual relationship with Ms Gobbo, referred to as Witness F, but recalled her making a pass at him during a hotel meeting.
