Zuma back on IEC candidate list, Freedom Under Law wants reasons for the court's decision

, former president Jacob Zuma is officially back on the final candidate list for the upcoming general elections. Two members of the public had lodged an objection with the IEC last month. On Tuesday, the Electoral Court dismissed the IEC's decision to bar Zuma from contesting the elections.

On Wednesday, Zuma's name topped the uMkhonto weSizwe Party candidate list vying for a seat in Parliament.
