Shortly after vote to allow amendments, 13 MEPs asked for vote to be recorded differently

Several MEPs have said they accidentally voted the wrong way on a key amendment of a new European copyright directive, meaning the most controversial aspects of the law might have been removed had they not erred.

Oooh, so this must be how Florida feels like.

A change in the voting order threw them off. I'm a little confused. Is it a bit like bingo. They call out a number and ypu say yay or nay. How else would the change in the order make a difference, unless of course they weren't listening.
