The release of the Mueller report has not diminished the Democrats’ determination to pursue the US President, but it ‘does take the wind out of their sails’, according to Professor Michael Wesley.

The Professor of International Affairs at the Australian National University told Sky News the Democrats are still likely to use a number of House committees to probe into further evidence following the report’s release, despite it finding no evidence of collusion between Donald Trump

and Russia during the 2016 election. Mr Wesley says the Democrats will look into whether there was an obstruction of justice when Mr Trump fired former FBI director James Comey, and notes that it was obstruction of justice that brought down Richard Nixon and saw Bill Clinton impeached.

MY PRESIDENT WILL GO “ANIMAL” ON THEM! PANIC IN DC! 👏👏👏

Never did they think the silver bullet would be found entering their own temple. Marvelous display of cognitive dissonance since Barr and Rosenstein signed off the summary. Trump will run this right into 2020 and rightly so.

That’s just not true. McConnell is blocking a vote to allow the public to see the report. All Barr has put out is a 4 page bit of spin.
