Mueller's report 'likely to be released' within hours | Sky News Australia

Former staffer at the Obama White House Bruce Wolpe says he believes excerpts of special council Robert S. Mueller's report will be released within a day, as speculation mounts about the contentious document's findings.

The Mueller report was largely focussed on determining if there were any criminal links between the Trump campaign and the Russian government in the lead up to the 2016 presidential election. US Attorney General William Barr is meeting with justice officials on Saturday in order to determine what part of the report will be published to the public. Mr Wolpe told Sky News he believes Mr Barr will hold to his promise of releasing the report's 'principal conclusions' by Sunday, US time.
