The U.S. Supreme Court has denied former Donald Trump adviser Peter Navarro's last-minute attempt to avoid prison. Navarro, convicted of contempt of Congress for refusing to provide documents and testimony related to the January 6, 2021, Capitol siege, was sentenced to four months in prison. He will become the first ex-White House official to serve jail time for contempt of Congress.
