Two men have appeared in court after an alleged 'bladed weapons' incident near an Aberdeen high school.
The education hub was reportedly locked down while officers dealt with an alleged assault on the nearby Bedford Avenue. James, of Aberdeen, was charged with the possession of an offensive weapon in a public place, behaving in a threatening or abusive manner and resisting, obstructing or hindering a police officer.
James was remanded in custody while O'Brien was released on bail. The case against both men has been submitted for further examination by prosecutors.
