Staff Reports The Houston Academy boys and the North Bay Haven girls won the DTA Shootout over the weekend at the Westgate Tennis Center in Dothan.

The Raider boys amassed 50 points to outdistance North Bay Haven, the runner-up with 40 points. Enterprise was third with 28 points and Dothan was fourth with 20 points among the eight teams. On the girls side, North Bay Haven won with 48 points with Houston Academy was runner-up with 37 points. Seminole County was third with 29 points and Providence Christian was fourth among the eight teams.

Individually, the HA boys had two champions – Mitchell Piedra at No. 1 singles and Landon King at No. 6. The Raiders had the runner-up at No. 2 in Brody Williams, at No. 3 in Jason Mun and No. 5 in Thomas Buntin.People are also reading… Enterprise had two individual boys champions. Julian Gunter won at No. 3 and Tripp Roscoe won at No. 4.On the girls side, North Bay dominated, winning at No. 1, No. 3 and No. 5 singles plus at No. 1 and No. 3 doubles.

Houston Academy had two girls winners and Providence Christian had one winner. The HA girls winners were Mary Parker Williams at No. 2 singles and Naya Bilbeisi at No. 4 singles.
