Owner of New Zealand gun shop that sold firearms to terror attack suspect supports call for gun law reform

The owner of the gun store that sold firearms to the suspect in Friday’s terror attack on two mosques in New Zealand says that he will support authorities' attempts to introduce tighter gun laws to prevent future mass shootings.

Tipple dodged any further questions on gun law and refused to offer his personal views on the topic, saying"today is not the day" to address the country's firearms debate."Please respect me on this. I'm going to leave if these are the only questions," he told reporters. A-category firearms include some semi-automatic weapons, Reuters reported, but they must be restricted to seven shots.

New Zealand’s hunting culture and strong gun lobby have choked previous attempts to shore up the country’s gun laws, the BBC reported.

What decent nations do.

Imagine that.

Are all New Zealanders so decent? Willing to listen to the other side? Thinking of the overall good?I dare say here in the US gun righters would be digging in their heels and telling us why everyone needs to go out and immediately buy their own guns if they already don’t own one.

It's a shame we have so many phallically challenged men in the United States. Guns more important than people.

Forward thinking nation. We are still stuck with 45
