The Prosecutor, Sgt. Cyriacus Osuji, said that the defendant and others at large,committed the alleged offence on March 11, at 6 p.m., at No. 16, Prof. Kunmi Akingbehin St., Lekki Phase 1, Lagos.
Osuji alleged that the defendant stole one Rolex watch, AP watch, gold wedding ring, neck chain, set of necklace and earring, green crystaland diamond jewelry. He said other items stolen included, three sekunda watches, two bangles, set of white gold necklaces, fresh water pearl, gold and silver bangles, all valued at N25 million.He said the offence contravened the provisions of sections 287 and 411 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2015.In her ruling, the Magistrate, Mrs M. O. Ope-Agbe, admitted the defendant to bail in the sum of N10 million with one surety in like sum.
