YOUSEF Makki's emotional parents today appeared in court to face the teen accused of fatally stabbing their 17-year-old son in a posh Manchester street.
Today the defendant, who cannot be named for legal reasons, appeared at Manchester Youth Court charged with Yousef's murder and possession of a lock knife.The teenager, whose family members were at the front of the small courtroom, spoke only to give his name and date of birth. Yousef, from Burnage, Manchester, is thought to have won a scholarship to attend the £12,000-a-year independent Manchester Grammar School.
Floral tributes have been left on the tree-lined street where Yousef was found and taken to hospital. He died a short while later.
