.DebFrecklington on Jackie Trad’s comments in Parliament on coal: It shows how out of touch jackietrad and AnnastaciaMP are, they simply don’t get it. Labor is hopelessly divided. More: thekennyreport

Activists groups including GetUp have threatened to campaign against Labor at the federal election if the Opposition failed to 'pick a side' over the controversial Adani coal mine.

It is alleged that Labor frontbenchers have been provided legal advice on how to revoke Adani's approval on environmental grounds just days before the Queensland government ordered a review into the endangered black-throated finch bird. Image: News Corp Australia

GChristensenMP DebFrecklington And Sky News is stating this lime it's a bad thing. Stop pedalling the Liberal deceit

GChristensenMP DebFrecklington And there is no future for coal. You lot are like people holding onto their horses when cars started arriving. Backward ignorance and GREEDY

DebFrecklington Talk to the jobless coal miners in the USA who have a government that doesn't believe in re-skilling.

DebFrecklington Of course they should reskill. Are you suggesting we prop the dying industry up for their benefit?

DebFrecklington Poor old Deb has to be the biggest winger ever

GChristensenMP DebFrecklington

chriskkenny DebFrecklington She talks with forked tongue. During her last election campaign she stated that Queensland need to get used to living without coal.

DebFrecklington Hang on! How is QLD labor going to pay the debt and extra public servants they have accrued without these coal royalties. They have spent all the money in QBank and QSuper and sold everything, so what is left. We still have 5o pay to fix their trains. QLD is doomed.

chriskkenny DebFrecklington So China just banned our coal, investors won’t touch it, a judge just stopped a new mine in Glouster because of Climate Change, Glencore just capped production, AGL moving away from Coal, renewables are now cheaper & Kenny says ‘Don’t retrain coal miners, I know better’ Ha Ha

DebFrecklington When's Deb reviving the stagecoach industry?

chriskkenny DebFrecklington Remember Newcastle? It's still there!

DebFrecklington chriskkenny Renewables will be a trillion dollar stuff up to our economy! And when new technologies like this come out it makes those who fought for them look foolish!

DebFrecklington Don’t vote Labor! Shorten going to knock off Taxpayer money for Renewables CFMEU owned wind turbines Aust.-wide even if States win GOV. . Now looking at shipping - guess who will own them? Then there is Mecca - $500m going to Soros & UN 1(1world 1 Gov.)

DebFrecklington Look mum CLEAN HANDS! Wind turbines made w/- coal powered factories.(Only assembly here) Europe buys coal power from Russia. If we don’t step up 3rd world countries going to own our butt. Wind Renewables cost Aust. Fortune. Then scrap metal. Mecca getting $500m Shorten’s UN.

DebFrecklington No shockwaves. Many coal industry workers will already know the product they are involved in extracting is on the way out. Question is timeframe v working life. Talking re-skilling is about being honest, treating coal workers with the respect all workers deserve from governments.

DebFrecklington Uh they need to reskill and be ready for new renewable energy jobs that require skills in using new technology.

DebFrecklington Regardless of where you fall on the environmentalism scale and how you feel about mining, our export partners are shifting towards green energy which means that the coal industry likely has a use by date. Cross skilling is a good plan.

DebFrecklington ridiculous comment. Re-skilling is necessary for vast swathes of employed people as industries change. Rather discuss investment needed to make TAFE and other appropriate public sector bodies rise to the educational challenge

DebFrecklington Absolute confusion in the basket state with AnnastaciaMP at the helm.

DebFrecklington Green energy like wind and solar is cheaper than coal. This sounds like the argument of the last group of horseshoe manufacturers
