Man in custody after police resolve situation in Goulds

Police have resolved a situation on Durdle Drive in Goulds peacefully.

A man has been taken into custody and will be held for court in relation to threats, weapons possession, property damage and breach of court order. The investigation is active.Police have closed the road in the area of 50-58 Durdle Drive in Goulds area of St. John’s. The RNC says officers have contained a residence in this area in relation to a call for service. At this time, police say they are communicating with one person inside the contained home. Updates will be provided as the investigation continues.
