Sheriff Schmerber doesn’t have the legal authority to arrest or detain any person for “border jumping” or any other immigration violation.

Key word 'illegally'. Not much to debate about this

The illegals must be arrested. It’s trespassing. Crossing the border illegally is equivalent to burglary. Simple as that.

Sure hope this ding dong is as diligent for people that run a red light or park illegally.

Build the border walls

Countries have to be in good standings, and economic agreements of neighbors. The long problem, how to solve it versus just trying to blockade it until it spills over.
