On Tuesday, Conservative Senate Leader Don Plett posted a video on social media of him asking the government’s Senate representative Marc Gold why the Liberals had fought for — and obtained — a 2021 court ruling ordering the families of French and Mahaffy to cover $4,000 of the government’s legal costs after a failed fight to obtain information about Bernardo.
