Obv asda has missed the nuance of the issue.

Does this also effect staff who have been given, no choice no discussion, extra (from a higher grade role) duties when someone goes on maternity leave? And not paid at a that higher grade level.... NHS do this all the time

Legal blow for Asda in equal pay caseThe decision means lower paid shop staff can compare themselves with higher paid warehouse workers. Simple solution, deploy the checkout staff and warehouse staff at the start of each shift FORCE the woman to do the same job as the men or fire them. Hollow victory. In 5 years they'll be replaced by robots and sit there wonder why. I'd love to see the 62yr old women who work on tills load and drag full cages of produce.

Croydon 'zombie knife' attacker jailed for three and a half yearsCourt of appeal rules Joshua Gardner’s initial suspended sentence was ‘unduly lenient’ Still a pathetic sentence, of which 50% will be served. Animals like this need to be locked up for long sentences as a deterrent for the other morons who think carrying zombie knives make them a hard man. Smashed the window and stabbed into the car with the knife...3.5 years? I hope that amount of time is sufficient to deter him! Is this not attempted murder?! I sincerely doubt had he actually broke the car window he was trying to smash with the 10 Inch Blade he was holding he would've just given the passenger a tickle. Even more embarrassing is that this is a CORRECTION of an even more lenient sentence.
