A pro-life pregnancy center's challenge to a New York law requiring businesses to hire women who have had abortions can move forward, a federal appeals court ruled Monday.

Students for Life President Kristan Hawkins and Kurt Kondrich, parent of a child with special needs, respond to a Massachusetts Democrat's controversial take on abortion.earlier this week that had dismissed a challenge to a New York state labor law prohibiting pro-life pregnancy centers from discriminating against employees because of their abortion views.

Evergreen Association Inc. argued in a lawsuit that a New York state labor law prohibiting discrimination against employees because of their abortion views violated the Constitution. Evergreen Association Inc., which runs pregnancy centers in New York City and its suburbs, argued that a New York state labor law violated its First Amendment rights.
