Walter Buchanan, 64, appeared in court today charged with killing 37-year-old Darrell Buchanan

The 37-year-old mum was discovered in a property in Hamilton Park North, near the town's racecourse, at 8.10am on Saturday, February 18.

Walter Buchanan, 64, appeared at Hamilton Sheriff Court charged with her murder, on Monday, February 27. He made no plea during the private hearing.The case was committed for further examination by prosecutors.One resident told the Daily Record: "CID officers have been knocking on our doors. "We woke up to police in the street.
