Widest gender pay gaps were found in the finance, banking, insurance, legal and construction sectors, according to a PwC analysis

Irish organisations that published gender pay gap reports in December have mean gender pay gap of 12.6 per cent, according to an analysis from PwC of 500 companies.

This compares to Ireland’s latest available national gender pay gap of 11.3 per cent in 2019, and an EU average gender pay gap of 13 per cent in 2020, based on Eurostat data.
