A MAN has today appeared in court charged with the murder of Elle Edwards who was shot dead in a pub on Christmas Eve.

The 22-year-old was also charged possession of a firearm and ammunition with intent to endanger life as well as handling stolen goods, namely a Mercedes A Class. Chapman, of Woodchurch, Merseyside, was remanded in custody last night and appeared at Wirral Magistrates' Court in Friday. Elle's dad Tim Edwards previously said everyone that met his beautician daughter "knew how special she was".
