Nationals Senator Matt Canavan says the Labor government’s energy legislation has “flushed down the toilet” generations of “economic policy and reforms”. “Today was a day when we’re unfortunately risking penury and poverty for our nation,” Mr Canavan told Sky News host Rowan Dean.
