WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange has submitted an appeal to the European Court of Human Rights over his extradition from the United Kingdom to the United States.

A UK court has given approval for Mr Assange’s extradition to the US but he has launched an appeal in the

High Court in London.He is wanted on 18 charges surrounding the release of confidential US military documents.
