Sen. Chris Murphy said Sunday that the Senate needs to consider withholding funding from law enforcement in counties that refuse to implement the nation's gun laws.

Sen. Chris Murphy, D-Conn., said Sunday that the Senate needs to have a conversation about withholding funding from law enforcement in counties that refuse to implement or enforce the nation's gun laws.

Murphy said"Second Amendment sanctuaries" are counties that have declared that they are"not going to enforce state and federal gun laws" and that there needs to be discussion in the Senate over whether they want to continue to fund law enforcement in these counties. "I think we have to have a conversation about whether we can continue to fund law enforcement in states where they’re refusing to implement these gun laws," Murphy said.

"They’ve decided they’re going to essentially refuse to implement laws that are on the books," Murphy said."That is a growing problem in this country. And I think we’re going to have to have a conversation about that in the United States Senate. Do we want to continue to supply funding in law enforcement in counties that refuse to implement state and federal gun laws? Red flag laws are wildly popular.

Anybody see the recent news about people with concealed weapons actually stopped mass shootings? What you say and what's happening just don't line up. Take Chicago or NYC for instance. Bad guys with guns (not bought legally or have permits) are killing more people lately. Law?

First of all Liberal you don’t have a right to violate the 2nd Amendment!!

'The idea we still allow semi-automatic weapons to be purchased is sick,' Biden said during a press event in Massachusetts on Thursday. does he mean like a pistol? last time I checked those were semi automatic as well

what is there to think about 'no cops' no funds period. There good cops and theres bad the bad ones are now coming to light, send there asses to prison case close. Same with DEM/REP there's good ones and bad one send their asses to prison if we have to.
