According to Amazon, law enforcement seized more than 240,000 counterfeit clothing and car accessories.

said today that it and law enforcement have disrupted three counterfeiting operations in China and seized 240,000 goods illegally using brand names including BMW, General Motoris, Hugo Boss, Under Armour and Puma.

The items seized included more than 130,000 counterfeit car accessories with fake brand labels BMW, Porsche and General Motors; and more than 40,000 pieces of counterfeit clothing. Amazon said its ongoing efforts to fight counterfeiters includes joint lawsuits filed with the brands Cartier, GE Appliances, WWE, Salvatore Ferragamo and FELCO.
