Labour strikes only became a Charter\u002Dprotected right in 2015, the same year the Supreme Court decided assisted death was a Charter right

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau posted this photo online on Monday to celebrate Halloween . It’s notable for the fact that Trudeau is not wearing a costume. Even since his election to the House of Commons in 2008, Trudeau has had a conspicuous reputation for taking Halloween costumes seriously. But that’s all been ordered to stop what with the whole blackface thing.Sign up to receive the daily top stories from the National Post, a division of Postmedia Network Inc.

But why bother? Canadian governments have been drawing up back-to-work legislation since at least the 1950s. It was a Constitutional appeal by the Saskatchewan Federation of Labour that eventually put the issue before the Supreme Court.. And now, in siding with the SFL appeal, they decided it was time to give “benediction” to the idea that striking itself was also a Constitutional right.Article content

Invented? Are we slaves then but you forgot to tell us?

you know.....all our rights were 'invented' right? Like, there is no supreme being that manages Earth's denizen's rights and freedoms. Just making sure y'all aren't falling into the creationist wagon....although I'm sure you accept investment from those folks.

National Post = Rag

Are you suggesting that there are laws we have that are not man-made?

Another NDP politician on CP24 trying to sell the line 'it is not about the money. They just want to go back to work' I doubt anyone believes this BS. Second NDP MPP calling the union members victims. If it's so bad best to resign and teach the Government a lesson.

Plus Sflecce came from rich parents , he went to private school and has never worked a day in a real job and this clown is saying 39k a year is too much . Wether your conservative, liberal whatever this is wrong. I supported fordnation but never again .

Fox North. Trump North. Wannabe Republicans. Extremists Infiltrating Canada. cdnpoli yow topoli vanpoli

Are we in a dictatorhip?

Unions are greedy . The teachers union is always on strike and never enough. Taxpayers will be on the hook for this .

Nobody is in the mood for a strike.

Yes!

Taken rights away should not happen in any free and democratic country. This is a tool to help but rarely to be used. The Ford government did not negotiate and used this to bully and manipulate the education workers. A dangerous precedent if this is to be used in the future.

If we zero rights as workers, we're basically slaves, right?

This Guy is not Qualified 🤣😂😂🤣
