The Alawo of Awo community in Egbedore Local Government Area of Osun State, Taiwo Abdulrasaq Adegboye has been sacked by the Court of Appeal sitting in

According to records from the Court of Appeal, in case number: CA/AK/58/2021, the court presided over by Honourable Justice Lokulo Sodipo, in the lead judgment read by Honourable Justice Abiru, set aside the appointment of Taiwo Adegboye as the Alawo.

It also ruled that Taiwo Adegboye should stop parading himself as a monarch and restrained him from parading himself or wearing any insignia of office as Alawo of Awo. Adegboye, who is a politician and member of the All Progressives Congress was before his installation as Alawo of Awo, the immediate past Leader of the Legislative Arm of Egbedore Local Government Area.
