Bad court decision

Narrow exception. Trudeau’s buying off the media is a much bigger threat.

Oh please. Didn't this 'reporter' work for Vice the barely honest, millennial outlet? Pulitzer writer/ reporter he is not. No dark day if a terrorist is stopped.

Judge must review evidence to ensure it is vital to reveal the source and source should be kept confidential if at all possible.

You have to be a piece of human garbage to protect a terrorist. No journalist or their sources are above the law.

Great ! I will have to mark this day on my calendar. Take your Fake News and Hate Speech and shove it.

Press freedom ? You've all become liberal party bag men.

A wonderful day for free citizens sick of left wing dogma coming from paid government flackies delivering government sponsored bloviating 🤗

Supreme Court to rule on case that pits RCMP against reporterThe Supreme Court of Canada will render its judgement Friday on whether a journalist’s communications with a self-described Canadian member of ISIS must be handed over to the RCMP. Our taxes pay for RCMP activity. The RCMP derives its authority from statutes and cannot subcontract the authority or extend the word or spirit of those statutes. If it likes and wants good investigative tools similar to the media, it should build it into its own budget. Someone is making a bad joke right? Self Described member of ISIS, uh yeah .... you had that over to the authorities, you know the ones who (try) to protect us again that kind of thing.

Reporter must give RCMP material about accused terrorist: Supreme CourtThe Supreme Court of Canada says a reporter must give the RCMP material he gathered for stories about an accused terrorist. You get what you deserve. You are from independent unbiased news. Perhaps if you were the ruling might be different. No journalist is above the law and neither are their sources. He was in contact with a terrorist and had to give up the material he had with said terrorist to the RCMP, sounds like the RCMP is doing their job to me.
