the sound of children screaming and to obscure the identity of a student who ran from the shooter in the hallway. It depicts police arriving at the scene quickly and approaching two classrooms where the gunman, an 18-year-old Uvalde resident, was shooting. The officers retreat after being fired on and do not reapproach for more than an hour, when several breach one of the classrooms and fatally shoot the gunman who killed 19 students and two teachers.

Can someone please ask the responding officers of the Uvalde shooting-- Is it that Texas has the death penalty along with it being an at will state that prevented them from doing what most law enforcement agencies might consider as their job?

Yea well that plan failed

Made out of Qupublicans mostly, so dont expect the truth

Remember when GregAbbott_TX repeatedly lied to protect the feckless police who let our children be murdered so the gun manufacturers would not face any push back?

I don’t know how these cops can live with themselves after doing nothing other than apply hand sanitizer and look at their cell phone as children are decapitated by bullets just feet away. I hope the immense guilt haunts them forever

they failed in that too

Somehow, it's all going to be Joe Biden's fault.

Amazing to me that anyone could 'back the blue' after watching this. Horrific cowardice.

Everyone in uniform in that video should be put in prison

statesman KVUE I am unclear why statesman and KVUE would choose to violate the families in this way. They deserved to see the video before the general public.

statesman KVUE Doubt the committee would show it before November!

statesman KVUE Tx Trib, you have to report who the leaker was. No obligation to protect someone else's source. Especially if it as Greg Abbott, hoping to blunt the Sunday/Monday House report on Uvalde response and coverup. Who else could it have been?

statesman KVUE

statesman KVUE Fairly critical tone in this article regarding the video being leaked. I’m sure I’d rather see a different version than what the DPS, Abbott, etc. If their version is more compete come Monday I’ll eat my words.

statesman KVUE Families wouldn't have seen the factual version.
