PETALING JAYA: The proposed Anti-Hopping Bill is ready and will be debated in Parliament soon, says Datuk Seri Azalina Othman Said .

"I am happy to share that the Parliament Select Committee on the Anti-Hopping Law have concluded and will submit the bill to the house to be tabled," said Azalina in a tweet on Tuesday .Last month, Wan Junaidi said the bill will be tabled when Parliament begins its scheduled meeting on July 18. Passing of the law was postponed after resistance from certain ministers who disagreed with the current definition of party hopping.
