No sympathy... Have neighbors that sell I wish they would get their property taken! Shit neighbors praying on people's addition problems poisoning future children to follow their parents foot steps!! He sold more than260 with to get that truck!!

Lowlife drug pusher! Get a real job! No sympathy from me!

Regardless of what he did, the practice of civil asset forfeiture is wrong. iamjohnoliver always seems to be a year ahead of the news.

Come on now get real u ruined lives now u wanna cry about ur Land Rover lol I guess u want the heroin back too here’s something for ya mayb try and get a job and work for what u own

If he was using the vehicle when he was caught (during the commission of a crime) then he is SOL

Drugs dealers don't ruin lives. Enabling family members do.

Drug dealers are scum. Best punishment is to seize their assets.

They just want it for themselves. You have to realize they take the forfeited items and auction them away for profit. Does the state not give you enough money to perform your duty.

Or maybe just throw him in jail or if the drugs he sold took someone’s life he should suffer the same fate. No love for pedophiles or heroin dealers.

If he could legally afford to buy a Land Rover why was he selling heroin?

If he wants his heroin back why did he sell it in the first place.

Bad choices have bad outcomes. Personal responsibility is so hard for minds infected with that liberalism gene mutation to comprehend. LiberalismIsAMentalDisorder Pathetic news from a pathetic fake news source.

Sounds like a prime candidate for presidential pardon realDonaldTrump It’s a disgrace he was caught breaking the law and his Land Rover was seized for selling heroin. StayWoke

We had a boat taken. No criminal chargers ever filed. On anyone. The 'crime' that the boat 'may have' committed was due to 2 owners (7 years) prior to us buying the boat. (Apparently. Nothing had to be proven.) Titles were clean. This has to stop.

tuff luck dope dealer that's what you get

The government took 2 million and defrauded the georgia lottery I'm suing to get that bsck, 400 thousand in comic books, hit a lottery show money they classify you as a drug dealer and take for profit. Criminals will be exposed, they have badges to protect us, imagine that.

And he should get his car back,it was illegally taken,he did not even get a jail time.

I love you ABC! Can you follow me?

This is news worth it?

He should’ve learned the laws of asset seizure before he started being a criminal

Why isn't he in prison😡

Want in one hand, sh.. in the other.......

Tell your lawyer to read the civil asset forfeiture laws.

How does this case get all the way to SCOTUS? Distrct, Appeals, and State Supreme Court couldn’t decide this case?

He was wrong but this policing for profit practice needs to stop.

How much heroin xid this guy sell to kids? How much of it started lifelong addiction?

And?

Everytime I see tattoo sleeves on some dude's arm

So, we have the US Military managing 90% of the worlds heroin in Afghanistan. Peddling it around the world and mainstream doesn't want to talk about that now does it. You're all guilty of enabling the heroin epidemic bc you're afraid of the Pentagon. Too bad you're all cowards.

It many have been an excessive fine, but I’m having trouble feeling sorry for him. How much of that vehicle was paid for with drug money?

DON'T SELL HEROIN AND THIS WOULDN'T BE AN ISSUE!!

He’s a drug dealer. I don’t feel sorry for him at all. He’a ruined many lives. Consider it a fair trade.

He lost $42,000 Land Rover for $385 crime; Supreme Court considers whether 'excessive fines' are unconstitutionalThe Supreme Court takes up a case from Indiana in which a man contests the state's seizure of his $42,000 Land Rover. At issue: Does the ban on “excessive fines” in the Bill of Rights apply to states? If they brought this to Oklahoma, the state's police would cry big alligator tears of injustice. They live for forfeiture and being able to steal all that isn't there. Not that you would expect much integrity from a state that has the highest incarceration in the nation. the federal gov. is also in the bidnit of making money. by making its citizens pay for the corrupt gov.who will not go after big time drug dealers,if it's less dangerous to fuck over someone by taking their money assets and first born & make them pay for bullshit drug programs Good. Number one all drugs should be decriminalized and civil asset forfeiture is theft. Plain and simple. Some police departments even budget in how much propert they estimate they will steal from citizens in a year to pay for things

Give them and all natives back their land!! You killed my ancestors in order to give our land away to incoming settlers!! 🤬 Right your wrongs! That would be historical! 💯 Initially by treaty the entire state was supposed to be native land and a home for tribes forcibly displaced from other parts of the country.
