Senate passes back-to-work legislation, putting end to rotating Canada Post strikesBreaking news: The Senate has passed legislation ordering an end to rotating Canada Post strikes, with all services expected to resume tomorrow Look at GM Oshawa. Union workers should appreciate the job they have and work hard to keep the employer competitive. Bring a member of a union myself it hurts to see this but on the other hand I have been at numerous Canada post facilities and witnessed first hand how childish and selfish these people can be. Good pay good benefits, little education, little skill set. Look in the mirror people I didn’t even notice canadapostcorp was on strike. It’s the most pointless operation in the country. PurolatorInc should be re-privatized and canadapostcorp should be wound up.

Senate votes in favour of back-to-work legislation for Canada Post workersThe Senate has passed legislation ordering an end to rotating strikes by postal workers across the country. That means all postal services will likely be back up and running by noon Tuesday. Good! Get back to work for what they're paid to do. If the unionized fks don't like it, get another job. I’m actually wondering if their union is on their side. I thought unions were here to protect their members. I think this union is poisoning their members. When’s the next election for these union representatives? Take care of business people. Great. They’re gonna spit on our mail now.

Senate to debate legislation that would order postal workers back to workThe Senate will sit today to debate legislation that would order postal workers back to work. Force those greedy turds back to work. Generally I support collective bargaining and not liking back-to- work legislation, but not when it comes to a nation-wide economic halting when businesses, hospitals, clinics, gov’t depts & the like cannot function because shipping mail & parcels are not flowing as they should. The two sides have tried for over a year to come to an agreement. Binding arbitration or back to work leg needed to get things back on track without holding the country hostage, especially this time of year.
