There was no cry to save 40,000 Nortel jobs. What about our Alberta oil getting to market? There are lots of jobs riding on that. GM is an American company. Trump is taxing them for doing business outside the States. We don’t have control over that. One yr’s notice isn’t bad.

Why was there no action to save Oil production jobs which amount to more than 50,000+ and now there is an outcry to save 2,500. FAKE NEWS

Who needs Canada Post, privatize it. Get rid of all the fat!!

Not going to happen 🙅‍♂️

Senate to debate back-to-work legislation for Canada Post employeesThe Senate will sit today to debate legislation that would order postal workers back to work. There’s nothing to debate. Just do it I think Canada Post has been on strike 4 times in the last 10 years. You guys strike too much. You’re about as bad as the TTC. About time. My wife's small business that relies on the mail, is suffering. Christmas presents I ordered for my kids have not arrived. Not that CP cares, obviously. As long as they get theirs, it doesn't matter who they hurt.

Senate adjourns back-to-work legislation vote for Canada Post until MondayLegislation that would order an end to postal workers' rotating strikes has passed the first two phases of the Senate on a rare weekend sitting. Of course CanadaPostCartel is at it again. Somebody is being paid to hold off. Like seriously it was all set and the boom train is derailed off the tracks. Shockingly, government doesn't want to upset CUPW and is yielding to the union, at least temporarily. The fact that a small group of people in charge of a bunch of whiny people have so much power is astounding.

Senate votes in favour of back-to-work legislation for Canada Post workersThe Senate has passed legislation ordering an end to rotating strikes by postal workers across the country. That means all postal services will likely be back up and running by noon Tuesday. Good! Get back to work for what they're paid to do. If the unionized fks don't like it, get another job. I’m actually wondering if their union is on their side. I thought unions were here to protect their members. I think this union is poisoning their members. When’s the next election for these union representatives? Take care of business people. Great. They’re gonna spit on our mail now.

Senate passes back-to-work legislation, putting end to rotating Canada Post strikesBreaking news: The Senate has passed legislation ordering an end to rotating Canada Post strikes, with all services expected to resume tomorrow Look at GM Oshawa. Union workers should appreciate the job they have and work hard to keep the employer competitive. Bring a member of a union myself it hurts to see this but on the other hand I have been at numerous Canada post facilities and witnessed first hand how childish and selfish these people can be. Good pay good benefits, little education, little skill set. Look in the mirror people I didn’t even notice canadapostcorp was on strike. It’s the most pointless operation in the country. PurolatorInc should be re-privatized and canadapostcorp should be wound up.
