Falana to FG: Start acting on intelligence reports from security agencies | TheCable

Femi Falana, human rights lawyer, says the federal government needs to act promptly on intelligence reports compiled by the security agencies.

However, the senior advocate of Nigeria said the government must go beyond issuing threats and alerting citizens of imminent attacks. “As predicted, a group of unmasked armed terrorists stormed the St Francis Catholic Church in Owo, Ondo state where they detonated explosives in the church and then gunned down worshippers during service on Sunday, June 5, 2022.

The FG is headed by a retired Nigerian Army General who boasts of fighting in the civil war! He has repeatedly shown a lack of ability to synergize intelligence agency's/first responders. Most have been a case of quota system

I am not understanding this call: FG to start acting on intelligence reports from security agencies? Who is supposed to act Intels from security agencies? Le_Stylo

Falana my highly respected lawyer, are you a stranger in Nigeria? Let us face the bull by the horns once and for all.

They will never act on it because most of it are the president's brothers carrying out orders.

Even there was an intelligent report from US, that Boko Haram are planning going to the south, but our security forces disregarded it. They said it was false alarm that time

So, is Falana saying that he gives state governors intelligence about security issues and they take it seriously but the FG doesn't?

Your advising them as if you don't know this govt. Very evil and corrupt...😠

Do we even have intelligence report? This country seems to be running on 0 intelligence.
